Stars, starlets and award-winning grando covers

Amongst the filming locations of “Sex and the City” and the properties of Maria Carey and Steven Spielberg, grando, too, has found a home. Covertech, grando’s partner in the Hamptons on the East Coast of the USA, has brought covers not only “over the pool”, but also over the pond. Our partner has also seen to it that grando covers are right at home in the land of “The Bold and the Beautiful”. How? By shining brightly – bling-bling – in precious metals. Simply bestowing it diamonds would not be enough for a grando cover. That is why grando covers have won gold, silver and bronze medals. Because they are so beautiful? That, too. But mostly because in addition to looking good, they also possess many other assets: energy-saving, debris-repellent, pool-securing, algae-preventing, to name a few. One could say “Everything the heart desires”. A coincidence then that that is also the title of the film produced in the Hamptons starring Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson (a direct translation from German, the original is called “Something’s Gotta Give”)? Whatever. Outside the mainstream, incidentally, the “Hamptons International Film Festival” is taking place in the Covertech neighbourhood. Here focus is on independent films that get by on small budgets. Like the regular maintenance costs for pools covered by grando. But grando is not a film. And there is no film prize. Instead there is a pool prize. Just one? See them all.
